When the game first came out, the Divide was spoken about in hushed terms. Then you have to be constantly on the lookout so you don’t get caught. Black Mountainīlack Mountain itself isn’t creepy, but then as you make your way up there you have to fight Super Mutants, Nightkin, and Centaurs if you can’t sneak up.
The setting is genuinely creepy at times. FO:NV is creepy to me because it’s set after an apocalypse (which brings up all kinds of issues). Now, I know it isn’t the scariest game ever made, but I don’t like those kinds of games. In honor of Halloween being just around the corner, I decided to make a top 10 list of the creepiest game I’ve played - Fallout: New Vegas.
